Kentucky Attorney General Jack Conway (D) has asked a federal judge to delay an order requiring the state to recognize gay marriages performed outside Kentucky, according to the Associated Press.
Conway is seeking to have the order delayed by 90 days in order to give the state time to decide whether to appeal the judge's ruling and/or give it time to figure out how to implement the ruling, which was originally made Feb. 12 but is expected to be formalized Thursday. Reported by Washington Post 3 hours ago.
