Ex-State Rep. Mark Miloscia, a lonely anti-abortion voice and gay marriage opponent as a Democratic legislator, is becoming a Republican and challenging state Sen. Tracey Eide in the south end 30th legislative district. Miloscia left the House of Representatives two years ago to run for state auditor, sounding very much like a Democrat in questionnaires as he talked about “reversing the wage inequality gap caused by the war on unions and the middle class.” But he was pretty much alone in a legislative caucus that championed marriage equality and such causes as the Reproductive Parity Act.
