ABC Family's “The Fosters” producers will be honored by Lambda Legal at its West Coast Liberty Awards ceremony to be held on Friday, June 13, at the Beverly Wilshire Four Seasons in Beverly Hills.
The LGBT legal rights organization will honor the show's executive producers and writers Bradley Bredeweg, Joanna Johnson and Peter Paige for giving a voice to LGBT families through the creation of their show, and for the impact they've had in creating an environment of increasing tolerance and acceptance.

Produced by Jennifer Lopez's Nuyorican Productions, “The Fosters” revolves around two lesbians raising both biological and foster multi-ethnic kids.
The show has been nominated for several awards and has won a Teen Choice Award and a GLAAD Media Award.
“The Fosters” producers join previously announced Liberty Awards honorees “Scandal” actor Dan Bucatinsky and transgender activist Bamby Salcedo.
